There are some very easy tips and others not so well known, but I want to share them with those adults and new users who still do not know the application.

I plan to add new functions and tricks for Snapchat in order to always keep this article updated and add valuable information.

What do you think about the idea? Do you want to know Snapchat hidden features? Let's go for it.

Here are the 23 Snapchat Tips and Tricks

23. Add Links to your Snaps

This is a copy of Instagram which allows you to add a link from a web page to your snap.

You just have to click on the attach icon and write the URL, search in google, or copy from the clipboard.

Once you've added the links to your photos or videos, your friends can now open the link through Snapchat's built-in browser.

22. Snap Map - Track Locations

In this Snapchat trick, you can find your friends on the Snapchat map, a new feature that allows you to share your location with your friends so they can see what you are doing on the map.

Also if you have Bitmoji, you can search for your Bitmoji and know if you are driving, walking, and more.

  1. Open the snap camera
  2. Zoom out of the camera by pinching with your fingers.
  3. Explore the Snapchat map.

21. Infinite Snap

When you want your contacts to reproduce a publication without a time limit" in seconds ", you just have to go to the end of the 10 seconds and select the infinity icon.

20. Boomerang style videos

It is the same Instagram function to create fun videos that are played over and over again. After selecting the infinite time, press the time icon again and select “Continue playing”.

19. Draw emojis with a pencil

Instead of using colors to draw on a post, you can now use a few emojis to draw. Select any Emoji and then make a drawing as if it were a pencil.

18. Identify song by sound

Identify the song you are listening to with Shazam and Snapchat. Shazam is an application that allows us to know the name of the song and the artist just by listening to a piece of the song.

Snapchat now integrates it and it can be used easily.

You just have to press and hold the camera screen for a few seconds. At that moment a circle moves and the name and artist of the song you listen to appear instantly. You can finally share the song thanks to Spotify.

Within the Snapchat settings, there is an option called Shazam, where it lists all the identified songs.

17. Create your own Emoji with Bitmoji

Snapchat recently released the ability to use Bitmoji with your Snapchat account to create a character based on facial features and paste the stickers onto your snap.

To use the stickers directly on Snapchat, you need to install them on IOS or the Bitmoji app separately Android and then link your accounts in Snapchat settings.

After this process, you just have to start customizing your character with clothes, style, and facial features.

Once finished, several stickers will be added along with the other emojis for you to use with your photos and videos.

16. Use Snapchat Memories

Memories is a recently launched feature that allows you to record a video or take a photo and then save it to Snapchat.

That photo or video you can watch or share it on your profile whenever you want.

This option appears just below the button for the duration of the snaps you publish.

Once you tap on this icon you can import all the snap that you have previously saved on the reel or gallery.

Once you select the photo or video you can start editing and sharing it in your story or save it just for yourself.

By saving just for yourself, your friends won't be able to see these files when you show them your memories.

15. Change Face with a Photo from Gallery or Camera Roll

This is a new Snapchat function that now allows us to change our face to another photograph or image that we have in the photo gallery of our Android or iPhone device.

You just have to hold your finger down on your face to make the mapping and the lenses appear. Now select the last lens that allows facial modification.

14. Make calls, Video calls with Chat 2.0

Snapchat began rolling out a massive update on March 29, dubbed Chat 2.0, which offers users a host of new features, basically transforming Snapchat into an all-purpose messaging app.

New features like one-touch video chat, audio-only chat, and the ability to make calls to your friends at any time are combined into one, easy-to-use application. If you don't have it, you can get Snapchat on Android and iOS.

Here's a list of all the new features in chat 2.0.

  • Auto-Advance Stories: Once you've finished watching a friend's snap, the next one will automatically play.
  • 200 new Stickers: There are tons of new stickers, and each sticker is automatically pushed to the top of your list based on the context of the conversation.
  • Video Notes: You can now send a "GIF" size thumbnail loop. The recipient can take the opportunity to listen to the audio as well.
  • Audio Notes: Similar to video notes, this allows you to send a short audio clip to a friend who cannot look at the screen for some reason.
  • Start Voice Calls: You can now start a video or audio call, regardless of whether you are already chatting with a friend.
  • Send Multiple Photos: Now you can take multiple photos, add frames, add filters. Once you have Snapchat-ready, you can send them all at once.
  • Send Photos While you're calling: When you're on a call, whether it's audio or video, you can go to your Gallery / Camera Roll to send photos, which will be displayed on a translucent cover.
  • Quickly switch between chat and Talk: With the Chat 2.0 update, you can easily switch between different communication modes. Go from an audio or video call to a note, then to a text chat.
This is great for keeping the conversation going as your circumstances change; Initiate a call on the way to work, and switch to chatting as you get to your cubicle!

13. Do you have a Snapchat URL

Snapchat was having so much fun with Snapcodes that they didn't bother giving us our own URLs until recently.

Use the following format to find your URL so you can add it to your website, Instagram, or Twitter.

This way you save them having to write their name or take a photo of their snap code.

12. Celebrity Directory on Snapchat

After years of asking and searching for Twitter accounts to find your favorite celebrities on Snapchat, there are now directories with the most famous and popular Snapchat users.

Snapchat codes are one of the first directories, and it has popular users from all walks of life, including food bloggers, celebrities, actors, artists, sexy models, news, sports, virals, and more. You will definitely find some interesting people here.

If you are browsing this site on a laptop, use the phone to add people. Just open Snapchat and point to the snapcode on the site.

When you see the snapcode of the person you want to add, tap, and hold the screen. The option to add the person as a friend will open.

11. Switch between a front and rear camera in a video

I'm sure teenagers know this, but most adults and new users have not realized this functionality. To swap cameras while shooting a video, all you have to do is double-tap the screen.

10. Make Money with Snapchat

As is the norm on all social media, some users with popular accounts are making real money from brands by engaging in a bit of influencer marketing.

Of course, it all depends on what you are and what you know, but you can earn money.

Graphic artist CyreneQ (aka Cirene Quiamco) reportedly makes up to $ 10,000 per snap when at work - and she's not even the highest-paid Snapchatter.

She has worked for Groupon, Disney, Burger King, and the recent Fantastic Four movie to create content with a bit of excitement towards her projects.

9. Add a frame with the letters

You know that you can write to your snapshots by clicking the "T" in the upper right corner of the screen.

You can make the text a little bigger by clicking on the "T" and then zooming in with your fingers, over and over again

Now the trick here is to make the font so large that it creates a frame for your image.

So, O is the boundary of the perfect circle in your image, while N makes the top of a triangle and A makes a complete triangle.

8. Keep Your Best Friend Stories Up Front

You've probably noticed that Snapchat Stories are sorted alphabetically after the "Recent Updates" section.

Pretty standard stuff, so you probably just left it at that, right? Well, it can be adjusted a bit.

The trick here is to add an "A - @" to the beginning of the contact's name.

So if you have a small group of people who really want to be in the know all the time, add this to the beginning of their name and you're done.

To do this, hold down your friend's name in the stories and click on the gear icon and edit his name. That's it!.

From there you can edit and add filters as usual, then share it with any friend.

5. Save your Snapchat stories

To do this, swipe right to get to all the stories of your friends. Your story is at the top of the list with an obvious-looking download button.

Once it's saved to your phone, you can save it anywhere you want.

If you think you are going to forget to save photos and videos, there is a service that you can use called SNAP MEMORIES.

To use it, you need to be broadcasting your stories publicly and register on their website. Then each month you will be sent a personalized email with your stories ready to view, share, and embed.
